Job Summary
The Sales Development Representative works remotely in our virtual call center using our advanced cloud-based technology. The SDR is the face of our company and interacts with potential clients at the beginning of their journey. The SDR qualifies leads and makes billable transfers to our licensed insurance agents. Representatives must live in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin.
Job Description
Essential Functions
- Develop rapport and a great first impression with prospective clients.
- Receive and make calls to prospects who have requested quotes for insurance.
- Handle and overcome objections to successfully transfer consumers to licensed insurance agents.
- Meet or exceed monthly call transfer goals and other key performance indicators.
- Abide with state regulations and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Serve as a brand ambassador.
- Answer and disposition client calls via our predictive dialer Convoso.
- Access the company-issued Microsoft 365 account to check email (Outlook) and monitor team communications (MS Teams).
- Participate in weekly huddles.
- Complete department and company-mandated training promptly.

Job Specification
Education and experience
- 1+ years of inside sales experience or call center experience is preferred.
- High school diploma required.
